Terms of use

Bosembo is an event organization platform (weddings, birthdays, conferences) that lets you create an event, manage guests, send invitations, collect RSVPs, organize tables, programme, budget and planning, and follow the day of the event.

These Terms set out the rights and obligations between Bosembo (“we”) and any user (“you”): organizer, co-organizer / staff member, guest via an RSVP link, or visitor of the public site.

Accessing or using Bosembo means you fully accept these Terms and the Privacy policy.

If you do not accept them, you must not use the service. For organizers, creating an account or an event is express acceptance.

Some features require an account (email / password or Google sign-in).

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for activity under your account.

You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use (hello@bosembo.app). We may suspend or terminate an account in case of Terms violation, fraud, abuse, or security risk.

Bosembo provides digital tools to organize an event. The service may evolve (new features, improvements, fixes).

Some features depend on third-party providers (email, Google authentication, Maps / Places, bot protection, future payments). Availability may vary by network, region, or configuration.

Bosembo offers per-event plans (e.g. Free, Premium, Gold), with different limits and features (including guest caps).

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. A paid plan must be settled to activate the related entitlements.

Upgrades to a higher plan are available under product rules; downgrades are not offered once a higher tier is reached.

Until the production payment provider is fully connected, some flows may run in simulation mode: cards should not be charged outside the official secure checkout. Refund terms, if any, will be clarified when real payments go live.

The organizer is responsible for published content, guest data imported or entered, and messages sent (email, WhatsApp, etc.).

You warrant that you have the rights and permissions needed to use guest contact details for organizing the event.

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws (privacy, anti-spam, image rights, etc.) when using Bosembo.

Guests may access an invitation / RSVP page via a link or code provided by the organizer, without necessarily creating a Bosembo account.

RSVP answers and information entered are intended for organizing the related event and are visible to the organizer (and authorized team members).

You agree to use Bosembo lawfully and fairly. In particular, you must not:

Bosembo, its brand, interface, texts, designs, software components, and templates remain our property or that of our licensors, subject to the rights you retain in your own content (event texts, photos you upload, guest lists).

By publishing or uploading content to Bosembo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it solely to provide the service.

We aim for reasonable service availability, without guaranteeing uninterrupted uptime (maintenance, network incidents, third-party dependencies).

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service, with reasonable notice when possible and appropriate.

Bosembo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be free of errors, delays, or interruptions.

We are not responsible for organizational decisions made by the organizer, messages sent to guests, or disputes between organizer and guests.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability related to use of Bosembo is limited to the amount you actually paid Bosembo for the relevant event in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or zero if the plan was free.

You may stop using Bosembo at any time. You may request account closure or deletion of certain data under the Privacy policy.

We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, non-payment, security risk, or legal obligation.

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy, which forms part of your contractual relationship with Bosembo.

As an organizer, you are responsible for processing your guests’ data; Bosembo acts as a technical provider under your instructions in that context.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada / Quebec, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to your situation.

In case of dispute, please contact us first at hello@bosembo.app to seek an amicable resolution.

We may update these Terms to reflect service or regulatory changes. The “last updated” date will be revised. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or in the product.

Continued use of Bosembo after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms, subject to any mandatory rights you retain.
